We are the Migrant Leaders Club of Mount Vernon, Washington. We are middle and high school migrant students who want to educate others about what it’s like to walk in our shoes. Please walk with us…
Hi Catherine,
Our program takes a break for the summer because most of the kids work in the fields, but I would love to talk more. Jblackmore@mvsd320.org

“Every Row a Path” is the perfect accompaniment to the book.
When we first published the book in 2012, it included a short, student-made documentary titled “Who We Are”, which now lives on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbsQTd0gl-o
In 2015 we completed “Every Row a Path”, a 30-minute professional documentary that stars five Mount Vernon migrant students who are in the book, and who were in the original short documentary. As I mentioned, “Every Row a Path” is the perfect accompaniment to the book.
Hi,
We attended a conference where the Migrant Leaders of Mt. Vernon presented with the club facilitator. We are hoping to duplicate this idea/club in our own migrant community for our school district. We were hoping to reach out to the facilitator that spoke about the program to learn how it got started and more. I can’t recall her name and was hoping I could get that information.
Thank you,
Heidi

I’m interested – Are there any programs related to this program for youth in the summer?

Thank you! To clarify, Every Row a Path is the film that accompanies the DreamFields book, correct?
